Slept well, but my back is still painful. The drugs don't work. Not a great start to the day as I've been invited to a 'yellow'-themed birthday party by one of the Thai carers. On the one hand I really want to go as it will be fun and I don't like missing out on opportunities to socialise. Set against that, my back is still painful, and so I'd not be able to dance, nor sing (be thankful for small mercies), and would probably have to sit in the corner, in my yellow shirt under a blanket. No fun for anyone, least of all me. I'm wrestling with a decision, but have to make one and stick to it. After I've been shopping with son #3 (supplies for his return to uni) I'll make a decision about tonight. Back from shopping, where my role was driving and paying, all the heavy lifting etc being son #2's job, and the experience has made my decision for me. My back's still crap and I'll not be going tonight. Shame 😞😞 Ancient Thai customs associate...
