Love, Poetry and Revolution - Wednesday 15th February 2023

Today's disruptions will come in the form of the decorator (last day), British Gas coming to do their annual service and possibly me sorting out details for my health check tomorrow.

Otherwise, it's down to work and focus until the doorbell rings.

Despite the interruptions, I've managed to get a lot of work done and now the en-suite is decorated and looking good, the best it ever has since it was built.

Work is followed by 'Ulysses for All', due to run from 6 until 8 and discussing episodes 2 and 5 ('Nestor' and 'Lotus Eaters').  Looking forward to it, especially discussing 'Lotus Eaters'.

Just before I talk about an aspect of 'Lotus Eaters' that I especially liked, a friend delivered some medication that E needs.  We seem to run out of some things so fast.  Thanks again to our friend, this help makes life easier and ensures E stays safe.

Today's discussion is over, and we've ranged far and wide on subjects like Marxism, Colonialism, the potato famine, Feminism, and more. So much to think about.

Sons 1 and 2 made dinner, which was ready just after I finished.  We watched a 'WILTY', mainly because it was later than normal and son #1 and his gf have watched loads more episodes of 'Lockwood and Co'.

Got to get up early tomorrow, so my bed is beckoning.
