Love, Poetry and Revolution - Friday 5th May 2023

It's been a week, but the weekend is approaching fast and surprise plans are afoot. All being well, assuming E is well and stable, I'll be off to Liverpool tomorrow. Before that, however, work.

This week's poem is by a certain Mr. W. Shakespeare, and is 'Ariel's Song' from 'The Tempest'.  Here it is:

Full fathom five thy father lies;
              Of his bones are coral made;
    Those are pearls that were his eyes:
              Nothing of him that doth fade,
    But doth suffer a sea-change
    Into something rich and strange.
    Sea-nymphs hourly ring his knell:
                              Ding-dong.
    Hark! now I hear them—Ding-dong, bell.

During the day a plan has developed and it looks as though son #1, son #2 and his gf will be joining Q and I for a day of festivities in Liverpool on Sunday.  Some aspects are yet to crystallize but it sounds like fun.

Work over, I start packing and then make dinner.

Son #1 and I have dinner and watch a bit of TV before bedtime approaches.
