Tales From The Crypt - Saturday 28th to Sunday 29th Saturday May 2022

Saturday on the south coast begins with breakfast before heading to the shops to get a few things sorted.  It seemed like a good opportunity for a coffee break and a chat before heading back to do a bit more shopping, this time of the food variety.

Managed to do a fair bit of walking before returning to watch more of the final series of 'Killing Eve'. Lamb meatballs with potato and salad for dinner, washed down with some wine (in my case, at least), before returning to KE.

Woke up on Sunday later and had a lazy start to the day before a trip out to collect some mail from the collection office.  Whilst out I called the hospital to see if E is going to be coming home tomorrow and was told this would be the case. Hooray!

After returning home, we headed back to the shops for a diary planning session (there is so much going on in June, July, August and September) over a couple of coffees and lunch. This has led to one discovery: Costa's coconut milk contains soya and it upsets my digestion. Earlier this year they switched to using non-dairy milk from AdeZ which is owned, like Costa now, by Coca-Cola. As a consequence, the allergens present have changed and seemingly they don't work for me. Looks like I'll have to try Oat milk and Almond milk again if I'm to continue drinking coffee there, or, as seems increasingly likely, I'll have to start going elsewhere.  At least we did manage to start the planning for a bunch of upcoming events as well as identify things we need to find out before we can finalise plans.

More 'Killing Eve', turkey mince and pasta, before sleep beckons again, with another weekend coming to a close.  Most interestingly episode 5 of 'KE' features both Amon Duul II and Neu! during the sequence set in Berlin in the radical 1970s. Cool beans.
